Woman in critical condition after being stabbed 12 times to her neck and chest allegedly by her ex-common law husband

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Kenya Villamil, 35, is in critical condition in the hospital after being stabbed 12 times to her neck and chest allegedly by her ex-common law husband.

According to authorities, the stabbing took place on Independence Day in the Corozal District.

Police found Villamil behind the old San Narciso Clinic suffering from multiple stab wounds and transported her to the Northern Regional Hospital where she remains in critical condition.

The prime suspect has been identified as Myron Palencia, 35 and according to reports, he remains on the run.
