Prime Minister John Briceño leads delegation to OAS Headquarters in Washington DC

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Today, Prime Minister John Briceño led a delegation to the OAS Headquarters in Washington DC where a meeting was held with OAS Secretary General Luis Almagro Lemes.

According to the Government of Belize, PM Briceño took the opportunity to address the OAS on matters including climate financing, migration of illegal immigrants, the case before the ICJ, and closer cooperation to meet COP26 objectives.

An agreement was also signed between NGO Pathlight Belize and the OAS to establish the framework of a mechanism to increase educational opportunities in Belize.
