Belize Weather: Sunshine today but showers coming back later

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, a relatively dry west-northwesterly airflow is prevalent over our area.

Skies will be mostly sunny and temperatures warm with isolated showers or thunderstorms only. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy with a few showers or thunderstorms affecting coastal areas.

High temperatures peak at 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 93 degrees over the interior, and 84 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 77 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland, and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be westerly to northwesterly at five to 15 knots. The sea will be moderate with wave heights of four to six feet.

Tides will be high at 10:58 this morning and 10:46 this evening and low at 4:57 this afternoon. The sun will set at 5:44 this evening and rises at 5:42 Wednesday morning.

For Wednesday, skies will be cloudy at times with a few showers and thunderstorms, beginning inland on Wednesday afternoon and spreading to the coast later.
