“Crooked Tree community mourns the loss of its Chairman” says former village chair John Gillett Sr.

By Benjamin Flowers: Former Crooked Tree Village Chairman John Gillett Sr. says that the entire village is shocked and saddened by the loss of the current chairman Brandon Gillett.

Chairman Gillett died this morning near Sandhill Village in a road traffic accident that saw the vehicle he was traveling in colliding head-on with a passenger bus. The other passenger, Eustes Dawson Jr. has since been transported to Belize City for medical treatment.

In the aftermath of the accident, former Chairman Gillett released a statement saying, “The entire Village of Crooked Tree is grieving for the tragic loss of two of our very own Brandon and James and the critical condition of Tes Tes was in a terrible traffic accident. We cannot express how devastating this is to so many of us and my heart grieves to their families. Condolences goes to their families and hope that Tes Tes survives.”

The last update on Eustace Dawson’s condition is that he was critical.
