International News: Sinkhole in Guatemala Swallows Car; Mom, Daughter Missing, 3 Others Injured

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Three people were injured and a mother and daughter remain missing after a massive sinkhole swallowed a car in Guatemala on Sunday, Latin Post reports.

The girl’s dad was rescued from the hole in Villa Nueva along with 3 other people.

Rescuers had a crane lifting the vehicle from the sinkhole on Monday and a search dog was deployed.

According to reports, the missing mother and daughter were traveling in another car when it fell into the sinkhole.

Guatemalan officials continue with a special team from the Guatemalan army in hopes of finding them.
