Bus Association sends condolences after yesterday’s fatal crash

By Aaron Humes: The Belize Bus Association has expressed “our great sorrow and sympathy” following Tuesday’s fatal collision on the Philip Goldson Highway.

A statement from the Association continues: “We send our condolences to the entire families of the deceased in the accident that occurred yesterday between the Silva’s Bus and the pickup truck.”

It concludes: “We ask our operator(s) to drive at a safe speed, keep your distance, be focused and think about other drivers on our highways.”

All three occupants of the pickup truck died, two on impact and the third in hospital but no injuries are reported aboard the bus. Police investigations continue.
