Belize Weather: A fine end to September

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly sunny skies and somewhat warm temperatures today, with clear skies and cool temperatures tonight. Little or no rainfall is expected.

High temperatures peak at 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 90 degrees over inland areas and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight, low temperatures will be 73 degrees along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 63 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be westerly to northwesterly at five to 15 knots. Seas will be choppy with waves of three to five feet.

Tides will be high at 1:32 this afternoon, then low at 6:35 this evening. The sun sets at 5:42 this evening and rises at 5:43 Saturday morning.

October begins on Saturday with fair weather expected and isolated showers only over the sea or near coastal areas.
