Belize Weather: Fair weather prevailing, some showers on the way

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with cloudy spells today and cloudy skies at times tonight, Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated except for slightly more over southern areas today and along the coast tonight.

High temperatures peak at 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 92 degrees in inland areas and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 77 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 65 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northeasterly at five to 15 knots; sea state is slight with waves of one to three feet.

Tides will be low at 2:01 this afternoon and high at 8:06 this evening. The sun sets at 5:37 this evening and rises at 5:43 on Friday morning.

On Friday we can expect a few showers and isolated thunderstorms.
