Belmopan Runners to hold virtual 5k run in aid of Rodimiro Zuleta who suffered spinal fracture

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belmopan Runners are holding a virtual 5k run in aid of Rodimiro Zuleta who suffered a spinal fracture in an accident.

“Our dear friend Evelyn Zuleta and her family are raising funds towards the recovery of their beloved nephew Rodimiro Zuleta who had an accident last week, for which he is in the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in a critical condition,” said the Belmopan Runners in a social media post.

“He fractured his spine and urgently needs an operation. He needs to leave the country to do it because they don’t do it here in Belize.”

The Belmopan Runners are holding the virtual 5k run from Saturday, October 8 to Saturday, October 16. A BZ$15.00 donation is being asked of participants.
