MSME Pop-up Shop comes to Cayo Welcome Center

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The MSME Pop-up shop will be held on Friday, October 7 at the Cayo Welcome Center in San Ignacio.

The Pop-up shop is a part of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) roadshow which began on Wednesday with a Boot camp training at the Cayo North Resource Center in San Ignacio.

During the roadshow entrepreneurs from San Ignacio, Santa Elena and Benque Viejo are convening for 3 days of training, development and funding opportunities.

On October 6, Day 2 continues with the MSME Formalization Clinic from 9 am to 4 pm and includes informational sessions by key government agencies and financial institutions.

The roadshow concludes with the Pop-up shop on Friday.

Three women entrepreneurs also have an opportunity to win $2,500 by pitching their businesses.
