Belize Coast Guard thanks Guyanese President for continued cooperation

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Lieutenant JG Otto Garcia of the Belize Coast Guard extended his gratitude to the President of Guyana, Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali for the continued support offered by the Guyanese Defence Force to the Belize Coast Guard.

Lieutenant Garcia is the recipient of a scholarship to study Strategic Development at the University of Guyana.

In 2019, Lieutenant Garcia completed the Standard Officers’ Course in Guyana.

Last year, Belize participated in the joint airborne operations in Tradewinds held in Guyana.
