By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts generally cloudy skies today and tonight, with some sunny spells today.
A few showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms will develop mainly along the southern and central coast and offshore this morning, move inland this afternoon, and redevelop along coastal areas tonight.
High temperatures peak at 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 89 degrees in inland areas and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 76 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.
Winds are northeasterly at five to 15 knots. Sea state will be slight with waves of one to three feet.
Tides will be high at 7:59 this morning and 8:39 this evening and low at 2:39 this afternoon. Sunset is at 5:36 this evening and sunrise on Saturday is at 5:44 in the morning.
Skies will be cloudy on Saturday with a few outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms starting along the coast then increasing and spreading to most areas on Saturday night.
