By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MAFSE) has postponed World Food Day activities until October 21 due to impending bad weather.
“Due to the projected path of Tropical Storm Julia and the potential effects it could bring the country, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise would like to inform … that World Food Day has been postponed to October 21st, 2022,” said MAFSE in a social media post.
The Ministry said the venue remains ANRI on Canada Hill Road in Hope Creek in the Stann Creek District.
Activities will run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Originally, World Food Day activities had been planned for Friday, October 14.
