29-year-old man stabbed to death with ice pick

By Aaron Humes: Earlier this morning 29-year-old Kevin Williams was fatally stabbed in Pomona village, Stann Creek District.

According to police, Williams and a woman were walking on a street in the village around 1 a.m. when they were approached by a man on a motorcycle who is believed to be the woman’s ex-partner. This man approached Williams and stabbed him in the upper chest area with what resembled an ice pick.

The woman intervened and shouted for help. Williams was immediately taken to the Southern Regional Hospital in Dangriga but was pronounced dead on arrival.

A post-mortem examination has been scheduled and Police are seeking the suspect as their investigations continue.
