Premier League of Belize postpones San Pedro Pirates vs Belmopan Bandits

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Premier League of Belize (PLB) has postponed the Week 11 match between San Pedro Pirates vs Belmopan Bandits. Earlier the PLB postponed the Benque Viejo United and Progresso match.

“Game has been postponed till further notice,” said the PLB in a social media post.

Earlier the PLB said the Benque Viejo United and Progresso had been postponed due to bad weather conditions.

The match between San Pedro Pirates vs Belmopan Bandits was scheduled to play on Saturday night at the Ambergris Stadium in San Pedro while Benque and Progresso were to play at the Edmund Marshalleck Stadium in Benque Viejo Viejo del Carmen.

At present, the San Pedro Pirates are in third place with 17 points in the PLB’s Opening Championship while the Bandits are in the cellar with 5 points.

As the weather situation is presently uncertain, the PLB has not said when the game will play though normally it would be postponed to midweek.
