Sandhill man killed in freak accident with truck

By Aaron Humes: 45-year-old Denbigh Grinage of Sandhill, Belize District, was accidentally killed on Friday afternoon at a sandpit in Biscayne, Belize District when part of a dump truck fell on his head.

According to reports, Grinage was working on the truck’s hydraulic system when its box crushed part of his forehead, according to his brother-in-law, who told reporters that Grinage and others were working on the truck and Grinage was pulling a wooden board from the other side of the truck pan when it fell and struck part of his forehead.

He died instantly and there was nothing that could be done according to those present.
