Police seeking help to find Celcio Cawich’s killer

By Benjamin Flowers: The Belize Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in finding the men responsible for the shooting death of Celcio Cawich, which took place in the Harmonyville community in Cotton Tree Village, Cayo District, yesterday.

Cawich was reportedly in his shop speaking to two men when three others approached the shop and one of them pulled out a gun.

The shooter fired as many as nine shots, managing to hit Cawich several times to the body. Cawich later died of his injuries at the Western Regional Hospital.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is urged to report it by calling 911, 922, or the nearest police station.
