By Benjamin Flowers: A family in Monkey River has been displaced after their house fell into the sea today, due to massive erosion caused by rough seas associated with Tropical Storm Julia.

There are reportedly six families in the community that are struggling to save their homes today as the rough sea activity continues to speed up erosion in the area.

Breaking Belize News has reached out to the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) but has been unsuccessful.
