Flooded waters receding slowly

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Flooded waters in San Ignacio and Bullet Tree have now begun to recede slowly.

The Macal River rose around 7 am and then began to recede slowly.

Just after 7 am, the water stopped rising at Iguana Creek, the Iguana Creek Bridge Facebook page posted.

Around 3:30 pm on Monday, the water reached the Cayo Welcome Center and by 7 pm, it had raised and entered several businesses that are located at the Cayo Welcome Center and near Bismillah Stores.
