By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour, and Local Government is delivering clean water in Cristo Rey, Cayo.
CEO Valentino Shal says that the flooding on Monday completely overwhelmed the water system in the village and the access road to the reservoir was also destroyed.
The Ministry is also assisting the water board to repair broken transmission lines.
“Today we are delivering fresh and clean water to the village while helping the water board to repair broken transmission lines. Meanwhile, our ever-reliable colleagues from MIDH are dealing with the damaged road. We continue to work together for the well-being of our communities,” Shal said.
