Tropical Storm Karl forms in Bay of Campeche

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Mexican Government has issued a Tropical Storm Watch for the coast of Mexico from Cabo Rojo southward to Puerto Veracruz.

Tropical Storm Karl is located about 120 miles East-Northeast of Veracruz, Mexico.

On the forecast track, Karl will be approaching the coast of Mexico on Thursday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts.

Tropical Storm Karl could strengthen by tomorrow followed by gradual weakening on Thursday.

Karl is the 11^th named storm of the 2022 Atlantic Hurricane Season.
