Man charged with stealing $165 bottle of liquor out on $600 bail

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Belize City man accused of stealing a $165 bottle of Johnny Walker Scotch Whiskey has been granted bail in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court, in the sum of $600 plus one surety of the same.

Kerun Miguel appeared in court on Wednesday represented by attorney Ian Gray. He was charged with a single count of theft to which he pleaded not guilty.

Miguel stands accused of stealing the liquor from Li Huang.

He is due back in court on December 14.
