Belize’s Health planners to participate in the training of strengthening health systems in Taiwan

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Wednesday, October 12, 2022, Taiwan’s Ambassador to Belize, David Kuan-Chou Chien met with Naudia Lilly Amparo Leonardo and Lily Jamini Guerra, health planners of the Ministry of Health and Wellness of Belize.

Both health planners will soon depart for Taiwan to participate in the “2022 Advanced Training Program on Strengthening Health Systems”, at the invitation of TaiwanICDF.

Through the training program, the officials will learn more about advanced public health policies, strategies, and practices related to communicable and non-communicable diseases, disease surveillance strategies, and modern technology applications in health, and global health security progress and practices.

“The Embassy wishes them a safe and joyful journey, as well as a fruitful and enriching learning experience in Taiwan,” the Taiwan Embassy in Belize said.
