Health fair to be held tomorrow at Bella Vista R.C. School

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Global Handwashing Day will be observed on October 15, 2022, under the theme “Unite for Universal Hand Hygiene”.

Global Handwashing day is an opportunity to increase awareness and understanding of the importance of handwashing with soap as an effective and affordable way to prevent diseases and save lives.

An official ceremony and fair will be held tomorrow at the Bella Vista R.C. School to celebrate the day.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness is inviting the community to visit the fair.

“The Ministry of Health and Wellness along with the WASH Multi-Sectoral Body – UNICEF Belize, Belize Red Cross Society, Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology, Rotary Club of Belize, and the Social Investment Fund remains committed to the cause of water, sanitation, and hygiene,” the Ministry said.
