By Benjamin Flowers: The Ministry of Education Culture, Science, and Technology announced today that in-person classes for San Ignacio/Santa Elena Town schools have been suspended.
A public notice issued by the Ministry this afternoon explained that the suspension is in effect for today only.
“This suspension is necessary due to a water outage in the area, as announced by the Belize Water Services Limited. Where possible, schools affected are asked to continue engaging their students through distance learning,” the ministry said.
The Ministry also apologized for any inconvenience caused by the suspension.
