International News: Pregnant 11-year-old girl raped while sleeping 

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: An 11-year-old girl who was reportedly impregnated by a 46-year-old man may have been raped while she was sleeping, Latin Post reports.

Richard Welch of Vermont was charged for aggravated sexual assault on a child after DNA evidence showed that he had fathered a child with the young girl.

The victim was 11-years-old when she was abused.

According to reports, the victim attempted to hide the pregnancy with a belly harness and told authorities that she was not sexually active.

The victim says that she sleepwalks but does not remember anything after waking up.

However, the child’s father obtained photos of his daughter and informed the police about the situation.

The child’s father said that he and her mother have joint custody and he hasn’t seen his daughter since May because the mother was withholding visitation.
