Vital Statistics Unit warns members of the public to not threaten its staff

By Benjamin Flowers: The Vital Statistics Unit (Vital Stats) has cautioned members of the public using its services to not threaten members of its staff.

Vital Stats issued a public notice this afternoon speaking on the issue, while not giving any details on any specific incident.

“The Vital Statistics Unit hereby informs the public that while its offices allow public access to services provided, management holds the right to deny access and services to members of the public who are disrespectful to staff and threaten to cause bodily harm,” Vital Stats said.

The Management of Vital Stats also said that the unit remains committed to serving the public but asked that those accessing its services adhered to the rules, policies, and procedures in place at its offices.
