Commissioner of Police visits mom and PC Arzu in the hospital before departing for Interpol General Assembly in India

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams says that he is departing today for India.

Williams will attend the Interpol General Assembly that will be held in Mumbai, India.

Before leaving, Williams visited his mother who had been hospitalized, and Police Constable Lorray Arzu who continues to fight for her life.

PC Arzu was shot on Wednesday night in Dangriga and had been listed in critical condition.

PC Arzu is still in the Intensive Care Unit and COMPOL Williams says that he didn’t get an update on her condition as the internist was not present.

“Thanks for all the prayers you have offered for these two women, I ask that you continue to keep them in your prayers for them to have a speedy and complete recovery,” Williams said.
