Police Constable Lorray Arzu has died

By Aaron Humes: Breaking Belize News (BBN) has confirmed that Police Constable Lorray Arzu died sometime after 10 this morning at Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, Belize City.

The recently minted officer was caught in a barrage of bullets after getting into a pick-up truck along with Leonel Rowland in front of her house on Bishop Martin Street in Dangriga on Wednesday evening, after an argument between Rowland and the suspected shooter.

Police Constable Arzu underwent brain surgery the same night and remained in a critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit at the Karl Heusner until her passing. Rowland, at last report, also remains hospitalized.
