Belize City Mayor, delegation tour Angleton’s park and recreation sites in Texas

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Mayor of Belize City, Bernard Wagner, and a delegation from Belize City is in Angleton, Texas where they will seal a new sister-city relationship between Belize City and the City of Angleton.

The delegation consists of representatives from the education, tourism, business, youth, and sports sectors of Belize.

The delegation toured Angleton’s parks and recreation sites and new developments in progress.

“Our hosts provided key insights into fostering inclusive and resilient communities which the Belize City Council continuously strives to achieve for our residents,” a statement from the Belize City Council said.
