One dead in weekend motorcycle accident on the Hummingbird Highway

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A man is dead following a motorcycle accident on the Hummingbird Highway on the night of Friday, October 14.

Police say that the accident is believed to have been a head-on collision just before the approach to Agua Viva Village.

Both riders were taken to the Western Regional Hospital for treatment, and Joalis Alvarez reportedly died around 6:10 a.m. on Saturday, October 15.

Police are investigating.
