PC Lorray Arzu’s death now a murder investigation; leads being followed

By Aaron Humes: With the death of Police Constable Lorray Arzu on Sunday, a mourning Police Department has turned its attention to catching her killer.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Fitzroy Yearwood reported today that “We have been receiving several [pieces of] information in regard to what happened that cost her life and we are investigating every angle.”

Arzu was shot along with Lionel Rowland of Dangriga Town, who remains hospitalized in stable condition. The shooter fired from Rowland’s side of the vehicle and police want to speak to him more thoroughly to see if he can remember anything that can help the investigation.
