By Benjamin Flowers: A Cayo man is missing a finger after being attacked by his drunken, machete-wielding cousin.
Twenty-seven-year-old Fernando Castillo reported to police that on Sunday, October 16, he was riding his motorcycle between La Gracia Village and Valley of Peace Village when he was approached and attacked by his cousin Esau Castillo.
Esau was reportedly visibly under the influence of alcohol when he attacked, and chopped off Fernando’s left pinky finger, partially amputated his left ring finger, left middle finger, and inflicted a cut wound to his right hand.
Police are currently investigating.
