Man’s home burglarized; Over $30,000 in valuables stolen

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A man was robbed of over $30,000 in valuables in a burglary at his home.

Twenty-six-year-old Demery Lewis told police that on Monday, October 17, he secured his home and left for work. When he came home for lunch he realized that the house had been burglarized.

Items stolen included electronic items, tools, footwear, kitchen utensils, and jewelry, all to a total value of $32,394.

Police are investigating.
