Minister of Education participates in celebration rally for Belize High School’s Robotics Team

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Minister of Education, Culture, Science, and Technology, Francis Fonseca participated in the victory rally for the Belize High School Robotics Team that secured gold medals for Belize at the FIRST Global Challenge.

At the rally, Fonseca expressed his teeming pride in the students and their teachers and reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to advancing Science and Technology across Belize’s education system.

The FIRST Global Challenge is a yearly Olympics-style robotics competition organized by the International First Committee Association.

The challenge promotes Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education and careers for youth.
