Belize Weather: Cool down

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly cloudy and cool conditions as a result of a weak cold front crossing the country in the south.

Skies today will be mostly cloudy and temperatures cool with a few showers and light rain starting mostly offshore at first, then over some coastal areas and southern areas later today along with isolated thunderstorms before picking up a bit over the Southern coast and offshore later tonight.

High temperatures will be 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 86 degrees inland and 75 degrees in the hills. Low temperatures tonight will be 75 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 65 degrees in the hills.

Winds will blow from the north to northwest at 10 to 20 knots and seas will be choppy.

Tides will be low at 1:22 this afternoon, then high at 7:20 this evening. Sunset is at 5:27 this evening and sunrise on Friday morning is at 5:47.

On Friday skies will be generally cloudy and conditions mild with light rain and a few showers or isolated thunderstorms occurring mainly offshore and along the southern coast.
