Belize working toward a ‘Digital Government’

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: At Cabinet’s regular session on October 18, 2022, the Ministry of Public Utilities, Energy, Logistics, and E-Governance provided an update on the plan for the transformation and modernization of a digital government.

The National Digital Agenda is a part of the government’s commitment to becoming a more open, efficient, and effective government and is in partial fulfillment of Plan Belize.

The purpose is to transform government services through the integration of technology.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness recently informed that it launched the official website, as part of the National Digital Agenda.

The Ministry says that it had been working hard to develop a modern, interactive, and user-friendly website, health.gov.bz.
