Happy International Air Traffic Controllers Day!

The day honors men and women who work hard to keep air travel safe.

The Belize Department of Civil Aviation is wishing its Air Traffic Control Staff a “Happy International Air Traffic Controllers Day!”

“A huge thank you to all our controllers who have remained dedicated to the Departments’s mission which is to promote efficient and expeditious movement of domestic and international air transportation in Belize through the provision of proper regulatory procedures in accordance with the air navigation regulations in force and the Standards and Recommend Practices of the International Civil Aviation Organization,” the Department said.

Air travelers join in thanking these professionals who direct air traffic on the ground at airport runways and taxiways and monitor and direct the movement of airplanes.
