National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) to receive $700,000 for supplies

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Cabinet has approved the supplementary Capital II budget appropriations for BZ$734,000 to support the work of the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO).

The funding will be used by NEMO’s operations center to replace materials and supplies critical to its efforts during national emergencies.

NEMO also continues to conduct training to better equip its staff for emergency response.
