By Rubén Morales Iglesias: All of Belize’s archaeological reserves are open said the said the Institute of Archaeology/National Institute of Culture and History (IA/NICH) on Monday.
However, the IA/NICH pointed out that the Xunantunich Archaeological Reserves is accessible only through the pedestrian crossing at the San Jose Succotz Ferry.
The IA/NICH said it will continue monitoring river conditions and provide necessary updates and advised visitors to the national reserves to exercise caution, be aware of weather conditions and the possibility of flash floods.
