International News: 3 dead after shooting at St. Louis High School, Missouri

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Authorities in St. Louis say that 3 people lost their lives in a shooting today at St. Louis High School in Missouri.

Police Commissioner, Michael Sack said that the 3 victims included a woman, a teenage girl, and the shooter.

The Associated Press reports that just after 9 am, the students heard gunshots and barricaded doors, and hid in classroom corners, some ran out of the building to seek safety.

Commissioner Sack said that officials were alarmed when the shooter attempted to gain entry into the school building.

Officers ran toward that gunfire, located the shooter and there was an exchange of gunfire in which the shooter was killed.

Six other people were injured and have been hospitalized.

The suspect appeared to be about 20-years-old, police said.
