International News: Japan temporarily closes Haiti Embassy as humanitarian situation worsens

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Japan has temporarily closed its Embassy in Haiti as the humanitarian and security crises worsen, Reuters report.

Haiti continues to face fuel shortages due to a blockade by gangs that are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Ariel Henry.

Amidst the humanitarian and security crises, there have also been reports of cases of Cholera.

Japan is urging citizens not to travel to Haiti for any reason and for nationals who are already there to leave the country immediately.
