Belizean Hakan Godoy wins Best Blocker award at XIX U-21 Central American Men’s Volleyball Championship in Managua

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize may have finished sixth with only one win and five losses, but that didn’t stop Hakan Godoy from winning the Best Blocker individual award. He was the only Belizean to win an individual award.

Kevin Acosta of Panama was Second Best Blocker.

Guatemalan José Pérez won the MVP, Best Opposite, and Best Server awards. 

El Salvador’s Fernando Navarro won Best Libero and Best Receiver awards.

The first Best Attacker was Emanuel Pérez from Panama while Gabriel Vargas from El Salvador was the Second Best Attacker.

The Best Defender was Nicaragua’s libero Axel Altamirano, the Best Setter was Guatemala’s Adolfo Rivas, and the Top Scorer was Dowshel Smith of Costa Rica with 126 points.
