By Aaron Humes: 32-year-old Calvin Palma of Mud Street was shot dead Monday night not far from his home, according to police.
He had gone out to the store around half past six on Monday and was on his way back when he met his killer, who opened fire on him several times before escaping. Palma died almost immediately.
Police say two persons from the surrounding area have been detained pending further investigation.
