Belize City woman charged for 38 grams of marijuana found in her ceiling

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Belize City woman is out on bail after being charged with a drug-related offense.

Thirty-seven-year-old Dominique Deborah Tasher appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court today where she was charged with a single count of possession of a controlled drug.

She pleaded not guilty to the charge and since there was no objection to bail, it was granted in the sum of $300 plus one surety of the same.

Tasher is due back in court on December 20.

Police searched Tasher’s home early this morning and found 38 grams of marijuana hidden in her ceiling.
