Orange Walk residents benefit from mobile land clinic

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The team from the Ministry of Natural Resources, Petroleum, and Mining is conducting a mobile land clinic in Orange Walk today and tomorrow.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources, Cordel Hyde and the team from the Lands Department are assisting residents with services including purchase price approvals, lease renewals, permission to survey, payment of purchase price, and title certificates.

Prime Minister John Briceno says that the mobile land clinics are organized to bring the government to the people.

“ A realization of a #PlanBelize pledge to our people. The Land Clinics are organized to bring government to our people. We understand that empowering our people includes ensuring they have control of their property and can secure their families as well as using property to build and grow economically,” the Prime Minister stated.

“For today and tomorrow Hon. Cordel Hyde Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and I will be working shoulder to shoulder to resolve long-standing land complications for our people,” he added.
