International News: Dog caught running off with human head in Mexico

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Thursday, residents in Zacatecas, Mexico said that they saw a dog running down the street with a human head in his mouth, the Associated Press reports.

Police managed to take away the human head from the dog.

Local law enforcement said that the head and other human body parts were found in an ATB booth in Monte Escobedo on Wednesday.

Beside the human remains, a message was found purportedly referring to a drug cartel.

According to reports, the area continues to be the scene of a bloody war between gangs backed by the Sinaloa and Jalisco drug cartels.
