Over 100 Orange Walk residents benefit from Mobile Land Clinic on Day 1

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Prime Minister John Briceño says that 150 residents from Orange Walk were attended to on Thursday (day 1) of the mobile land clinic in Orange Walk.

The team from the Ministry of Natural Resources, Petroleum, and Mining will also be at the People’s Stadium today.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources, Cordel Hyde and the team from the Lands Department are assisting residents with services including purchase price approvals, lease renewals, permission to survey, payment of purchase price, and title certificates.

“I personally invite our residents to come out for our 2nd day… the Lands Department team along with Hon. Cordel Hyde Minister for Natural Resources and myself will be available to assist you resolve your land issues,” PM Briceño said.

“A realization of a #PlanBelize pledge to our people. The Land Clinics are organized to bring government to our people. We understand that empowering our people includes ensuring they have control of their property and can secure their families as well as using property to build and grow economically,” the Prime Minister added.
