Belize Weather: Fair weather gives way to increased showers tonight

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts a moderate increase in showers tonight after a fine day weather-wise.

Skies today will be sunny with a flew cloudy spells and isolated showers. Tonight, skies will be cloudy at times with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly over the coast.

High temperatures today reach 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 93 degrees inland and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 79 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to ten knots; sea state is slight.

Tides will be high at 1:32 this afternoon and low at 6:08 this evening. The sun sets at 5:22 this evening and rises at ten minutes before six on Sunday morning.

Sunday’s forecast is for cloudy skies at times with a few showers Sunday morning, decreasing in the afternoon and becoming mostly isolated under partly cloudy skies at night.
