Belize Central Prison closes as Tropical Storm Lisa approaches

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Belize Central Prison says that due to the impending arrival of Tropical Storm Lisa to Belize, the Kolbe Foundation made the decision to close the Belize Central Prison.

There will be NO visits with inmates and no business transactions with customers of the prison.

“We thank everyone for their understanding and look forward to their full support and cooperation during this perilously uncertain time,” a statement from the Kolbe Foundation said.
